Detailed description of the gluing system of the edge banding machine
Gluing system for applying glaze melt to the edges of workpieces
·The lamination edge/strip must be cut parallel to the same width
·The lamination width should be the workpiece thickness + 4mm.
·The additional length is 50mm.
·The sol container must be kept clean.
·Be sure to follow the safety measures and work practices of the glaze melt manufacturer.
• Do not touch unprotected parts of components during processing.
·The processing temperature of glaze melt is 180℃ to 200℃.
· Check that the thermal sensor is in the correct position!
• The glue container will be filled with glaze glue.
·The glue will be melted in the glue container
· Rotating rubber shaft delivers hot glaze glue to the workpiece
Quantitative device controls the supply amount
·Adjust the screw to adjust the vertical of the gluing shaft
Adjust the screw to adjust the distance between the glue shaft and the workpiece
Glue shaft settings
The distance between the gluing shaft and the guide, the gluing system is elastically installed, and the maximum distance is 0.5mm.
· Tighten the set screw
·Loosen the lock nut on the top wire
·Adjust the top wire so that the vertical distance between the guide and the edge sealing surface is 0.1-0.5mm.
Check the settings after changing the glue shaft and reset if necessary.
Drive (drive through gears and sprockets)
The gluing system will be driven to the working position by gears and sprockets.
·Open the conveyor belt function of the edge banding machine
·Turn on the heating and gluing function
·Loosen the nut on the top wire to adjust the glue output
The workpiece is conveyed by the conveyor belt to the position of the glue shaft
The edge film is transported to the front of the glue applicator shaft by the belt feed roller to coat the same amount of sol. Only when the glue roller is parallel to the workpiece can the glue layer applied to the workpiece be uniform.
·Adjust the parallelism between the gluing shaft and the edge sealing surface of the workpiece by adjusting the starting rods 7 and 9
Be careful with the dosing of the sol, excess melt will contaminate the following components!
DANGER: Keep turning the glue shaft without touching the transmission parts when the knife is stopped
·The applicator will be heated by electric heating element.
The preselected temperature will be kept constant by a control system
Changes to temperature differentials and setpoints in the control zone
It is mainly based on the setting of the melt glue manufacturer.
Turn on the heating system and the glue roller drive melter will heat up
· When the temperature reaches the set temperature (180. C), the roller starts to rotate.
Replacing the glaze melt
Lower the Sol level to a low level before ending production.
· Turn off the machine
·Remove the cover of the melt container
Insert the left and right side strips in the melt container into the still liquid melt
·Let the melt container cool
· Turn on the machine and heat
· With the anti-stick coating on the container, the remaining melt can be emptied with two edge strips
• Warm the melt container to approximately 150°C. c
· Turn off the machine
· Removal of oxide residues in fill areas
